The
Canteen provides both the vegetarian and Non-vegetarian
dishes.

Boarders shall mention the type of mess facilities
required in the application form given at the time
of admission.

Boarders,
once they opt for vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian mess,
shall continue in the same mess till the end of the
Semester.
-
If
any Boarder desires to change from the Non -Vegetarian
mess on the health grounds, he / she shall inform
the same to the Manager of the mess in writing.
-
Only
after obtaining the written permission or Orders from
the Manager, he / she shall change the mess from Vegetarian
to Non-Vegetarian and vice-versa.
-
Non-Vegetarian
items shall be served at the counter meant for it.
No Boarder shall be allowed inside the Counter for
selecting the bowl or place where the Non-Vegetarian
item is kept.

If
any Boarder enters inside the counter, disciplinary
action shall be initiated along with a minimum fine
of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) as a first warning.

No
extra gravy / soup or any Non-Vegetarian food shall
be served.

Boarders
are not allowed to have their breakfast, meals etc.,
in their rooms; exception can however be made by the
warden in case of ill health.

Absence
from the mess without prior permission of the Warden
is considered as an act of indiscipline and he / she
is liable to pay the entire mess charges etc., of
that month and onwards till he /she informs the Office
in writing.

Boarders
shall not invite their guests for breakfast or for
meals; however arrangement can be made to provide
breakfast or meals or both for their parents only
for two or three days.

Boarders
are not permitted to enter the kitchen and store on
any account.
-
Breakfast,
meals, tea etc., meant for any Boarder is not transferable
to any other Boarder or Non-Boarder.

The
mess will remain closed during vacation.

REDUCTION
IN MESS CHARGES IS NOT ALLOWED EITHER IN THE ODD/EVEN
SEMESTER EXCEPT WITH SPECIAL PERMISSION.

Mess
charges become compulsory as soon as the mess starts
functioning.
-
Entire
mess and other charges shall become compulsory from
the date of their joining the mess whether the boarders
utilize the mess and other facilities or not. Boarders,
when once they become defaulters, shall not stay in
Hostel room and utilize any facilities like bath,
after the last working day of every month. If it is
noticed by the Warden / Residential Warden or by any
other authorized staff, they shall be levied a fine
of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred fifty Only) per day.

No
application shall be accepted for the reduction of
mess charges on Medical ground or due to personal
problem unless the Boarder intimates, in writing,
the Warden / Residential Warden / Supervisor prior
to the departure from the Hostel. On acceptance by
the Warden, the mess charges will not be collected
for (n-3) days, if the absence is for “n”
days.

If
any Boarder is suffering from illness, he / she should
inform the competent authority, in writing, for the
supply of bread and milk.

If
any Boarder has taken treatment from any private Hospital
or Nursing Home or government Hospital, he / she shall
produce the Medical Certificate, which should contain
the signature of the Doctor along with seal, register
number, date etc.

The
Boarders who represent the college and participate
in sports, cultural and literary activities shall
inform the Warden, in writing, along with a letter
of authorization from the Principal, before their
participation to the Warden, well in advance, are
not eligible for any kind of reductions.
