Its serene and peaceful atmosphere and salubrious climate make it an ideal place for healthy and undistracted pursuit of knowledge and skills by the students. It has vast collection of books and periodicals and monographs in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Science, Management and Literature The SVECW has established a spacious library & Information centre with an area of 1003 Sqm. It is divided into different sections like Circulation Section, Technical Processing Section, Stack area, Reference and Periodical Section, Discussion Rooms, Audio Visual Room, Digital library, and Reprographic Section. It is having the collection of more than 46,164 volumes, 1019 Journals Back Volumes, 900 Project reports and 5,200 Educational CDs. It is subscribing more than 118 (print) Indian Journals and magazines + More than 8000 online access to e-journals through 10 Publishers. It has automated library House Keeping Operations by using ECAP Software. Established Digital library for E-resources. Library Layout Ground Floor: Circulation Section, Students Lounge and Librarian’s Office First Floor: Periodicals, Reference, Audio-Visual Room and Discussion Rooms Second Floor: Digital Library Working Hours On all working days : 8 am to 12 Night Circulation : 8 am to 5 pm Reference : 8 am to 12 pm On Sundays : 11 am to 4 pm Periodical Section Subscribing more than 118 Indian Journals & Magazines. Providing Access to More than 8000 Online Journals Access through 10 publishers Current Journals will be displayed in the Periodical Section. Back Volumes of the Journals will be displayed in the Circulation Section.
