Library is an important component of any educational institution. Any amount spent on its creation, development and expansion will be amply rewarded by the knowledge advancement of the academic community.
Sri Vishnu Engineering College for women has one main library at the heart of the campus. In addition to this.Besides this there is departmental library in departments of EEE.
  • The library is open 8.00 a.m. to 12.am on all days.
  • On line public access catalogue (OPAC) search and reservation is available.
  • Each member can have 5 cards and can retain books for 15 days. Renewals is permitted provided there is no reservation.
  • Institutional membership of the libraries at British Council, IIT, Anna university enables a member to borrow a book or journal from them on production of a specific card available with the librarian.
  • CDs of full series of lectures on specific subjects as well as that of text books are available for borrowing against tickets.
  • Features like Digital scanner, DTP section with reprographic facility and audio visual section are also available.
  • Area of Central library is 1800 SQM while that of the School Management and Computer Application has an area of 355 SQM.
  • A Book bank comprising text books is available for the use of students belonging to oppressed classes.
