Science and Technology is gaining more and more a global feature with its exponential growth. Keeping this in view it is very essential more particularly for engineering institutions to produce students with multi-skills. India being a country rich in population is having more potentiality. For the countries rich in technology India is a promising place. With this future vision Sri K V Vishnu Raju , Chairman, Shri Vishnu Educational Society, encouraged and motivated the English Department of SVECW and it culminated in the establishment of facility to learn Foreign Languages in the campus.

The languages offered are French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin. One batch of students already completed first level of German course through Max Muller Bhavan, Hyd. Consequent second level is going to start 3rd week of December. All other languages are going to be started in the 2nd week of December. In the near future a native Chinese also will be provided in the campus to teach Mandarin.

In this regard we had an agreement with Launchpad Ventures (P) Limited, A Human Capital Venture, Human Capital Services , Corporate Office: Knowledge House, 6, Kasturirangan Road, Alwarpet, Chennai: 600 018. They visited the campus on 25th December and addressed the students and emphasized the importance of learning Foreign languages. They conveyed that:

“There is nothing that education cannot do to any nation, race or religion who have brought about the capability and uplifted the ability of the forces that work within. This is the fundamental structure of our service offering to educational institutions.

We wish to partner you in your efforts to transform your college to become the essential force for social cohesion & see your college stand for high-powered intellects, trained personnel and strong reputation.”

There is another organization by name S&N Hayakawa Enterprises Pvt Ltd. Chennai. They visited the campus on 28th of December and gave a demonstration to the students regarding the Japanese programme. Hayakawa Enterprises is the only leading Japanese Language School in Chennai with Professional Native Japanese Teachers. They conveyed that:

“Thanks for showing interest in our organisation and to learn Japanese Language from Professional Native Japanese Teachers. As you are aware that Japan is the second largest economy in the World, there are a lot of opportunities for those how have Japanese Language skills.

We are conducting Japanese Language Education through contact classes for Japanese language Proficiency Test (JLPT) to Read, Write & Speak Japanese.”
