A non government organization “Indo-US Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE)” was started by eminent academicians drawn from US and India with a view to learn and exchange the best practices in Administration, Teaching and Research in engineering colleges. Prof. Krishna Vedula, Professor and Dean Emeritus, University of Massachusetts, Lowell is the chief architect of the program.

IUCEE has conducted about 46 workshops in ‘Faculty Leadership Institutes’ of 2008 & 2009 at Infosys, Mysore. Several follow up measures were taken by the faculty members who attended these workshops in conducting similar workshops at different places in the region.

By considering its remarkable efforts, IUCEE has declared to Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women (SVECW) Bhimavaram as one of the 14 Regional Centres in India and it has recently become a Member of IUCEE College Consortium.

IUCEE has allotted the workshop on ‘DSP Using Labview’ scheduled between July 5-9, 2010 for Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women during the FLI 2010. Prof. Mark A. Yoder (Ph.D. in EEE) of Rose Hulman University, USA is the Subject Expert for this workshop.
