The
State Government has brought together Institute for Electronic
Governance, Students and Industry into a single fold by forming
Jawahar Knowledge Centres (JKC) ::JKC STAR in a few selected well established
colleges.
Bright
selected students from different colleges are transferred
to JKC STAR and are given special coaching in the subjects. Good
live projects are given. Additional soft skills required by
the Industry are also imparted during the intensive training.
Finally
about 40 well established industries are invited to the knowledge
centres to conduct campus interviews for recruitment. All
the students undergoing training in JKC STAR are assured of placement.
