ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY LAB: With its empirical attitude and social commitment Assistive Technology Lab. is progressing enabling the students to develop holistic approach under the eminent guidance of Prof. Allan Rux from UMASS Lowell, USA. It sparked the creativity of the students and the outcome is E-stick, Voice box, electric chair etc for differently able people.

THE IBM SOFTWARE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE: Global forces are altering the educational landscape and adapting to that change SVECW readily invites up gradation in all aspects. The result is establishment The IBM Software Center of Excellence. Enabling unlimited training The IBM Software Center of Excellence aims at increasing the skill sets of the faculty and students, leading to improvement in the quality of technical education, increase in the employability of students and placing the institution in a leadership position.

RADIO VISHNU 90.4 & VISHNU TV ACADEMY: Service to humanity is service to God, inculcating this ideology in the minds of young engineers, a community radio station - Radio Vishnu 90.4 is established in the campus. It ushered in a new era by giving voice to voiceless with young women engineers at the helm. Vishnu TV Academy is another unique facility where students are enthused to fine tune their theatre arts.

INDO US COLLABORATION FOR ENGINEERING EDUCATION - IUCEE: Everything operating with clockwork precision, the institution has become a part of College Colloquium of The Indo US Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE), a program that was conceptualized in 2007 with the vision to improve the quality and global relevance of engineering research and education in India and in the USA. Announcing renewed commitment to education the college conducted several induction programmes through IUCEE and is a host to one of the FLI 2010 workshops. Widening its horizon the institution signed MOUs with two US Universities – University of Massachussets and Purdue University – for academic exchange programme. Further the instituition has MOUs with different industries like Elico, Effronics, Vennar Ceramics, Anjani Cements etc., for hands on experience.

COUNSELLING SCHEME: The college has a student counseling scheme in which each faculty member is designated as a mentor for twenty students. The purpose of counseling is to motivate the students to set personal goals and inspire them to reach those goals. Sometimes specialist counselors interact with the students to fill in the professionalism in the students.
