DEPARTMENT PROFILE |
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering
was established in the academic year 2001-02 with an
annual intake of 60. The intake was increased to 120
from the academic year 2006-07. The Department is
accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation,
AICTE, Delhi) for 5 years.Four batches of students
have graduated so far.
The Department focus on preparing the students for wide range of IT careers equipping them with unique enriching experience of molding tomorrow's technocrats with high caliber and commitment.
OBJECTIVES
The objective of the dept. is “To develop efficient and
dynamic Computer Science Engineers with academic
excellence, effective communication skills, leadership
skills, excellent character, and high integrity to serve
the interests of society and the nation”.
- To promote enthusiasm among students by participation in an information and scientific-based knowledge community.
- To prepare students to adapt to the challenges of an ever changing world of tomorrow.
- To promote, support and realize the vision of SVECW.
- To enable the students to adapt to the professional requirements.
