MIND TREE OF B.TECH - ECE PROGRAMME

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women (SVECW) was established in the academic year 2001-02 with an annual intake of 60.The Department is accredited by NBA  (National Board of Accreditation,AICTE, Delhi).

 

The intake was increased to 120 from the academic year 2004-05 and later the intake was increased to 180 from the academic year 2011-12. In addition to this intake, the Department has 20% lateral entry students at II B.Tech. level.

 

The B.Tech. (ECE) program is duly approved by the AICTE and Government of Andhra Pradesh and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK), Kakinada. Ten batches have graduated so far. The Department has a number of well-equipped laboratories and provides excellent facilities for learning. The Department periodically organizes seminars, symposia, workshops and guest lectures for the benefit of both the students and the faculty.

M.Tech. Programme was started with 18 intake in the specialization of VLSI Design from the year 2008.

Graduates will have the ability to apply the principles of Electronics and Communication Engineering that provides solutions for real world problems.

Program Educational Objectives :: M. Tech. - VLSI

PEO 1

The graduates shall have a working knowledge of various areas of VLSI engineering and in allied fields, including other engineering disciplines, the sciences, and mathematics.

PEO 2

The graduates shall have the ability to execute a research plan, to generate and analyze original research results, and to communicate those results through oral presentations and written publications.

PEO 3

The graduates shall have the basic skills needed for life-long learning and professional development.
