JKC is an initiative of Institute for Electronic Governance (IEG) of the Department of IT&C, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh to promote interaction between industry, institute and government. JKC aims to impart employable skills and industry grade skills to the engineering and MCA students, particularly of rural background and also provides employment opportunities.
Objectives:

To promote the Industry Education Government interaction. Simultaneously, offering employable skills to students and producing quality workforce to the industry who are job ready.
- To increase the awareness on opportunities available in industry and on skill required to tap those opportunities.
JKC was established at our college in Dec 2004. Since inception our college is ranked as the best JKC among the other JKC colleges in the state and IEG has granted JKC Star status to our college.
The JKC Star status is given to the best performing JKC Colleges in terms of Infrastructure, commitment, placements and assessment. JKC Star Status of the college is reviewed regularly based on commitment of the college, infrastructure provided and support given. Every year, about fifty students selected by different organizations are trained for six months in JKC Star colleges.
Our college is selected as the ‘Best JKC’ for the academic year 2009-10 and our chairman Sri K.V. Vishnu Raju garu received “Outstanding Performance Award” from Honorable Chief Minister Sri K. Rosaiah garu in the function held in Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad on 28-04-2010.
