DEPARTMENT PROFILE |
The Department of Computer Applications was established
in the Academic year 2004-05 with an annual intake of
60. Two batches of students have got post graduation so
far and one batch is undergoing project work.
The aim of the department is “To develop efficient
and dynamic Computer Application Engineers with academic
excellence, effective communication skills, job
knowledge, leadership skills, excellent character, and high
integrity to serve the interests of society and the nation.
The Department focuses on preparing the students for wide
range of IT careers equipping them with unique enriching
experience of molding tomorrow’s technocrats with high
caliber and commitment.”
OBJECTIVES
To enable the students to be aware of their inner potential and cultivate creativity and initiative as well as innovative thinking among students by through proactive Academic and Non Academic activities.
- To promote enthusiasm among students by participation in an information and scientific-based knowledge community.
- To prepare students to adapt to the challenges of an ever changing world of tomorrow.
- To promote, support and realize the vision of SVECW.
- To enable the students to adapt to the professional requirements.
